“Because we have these promises, dear friends, Let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body and soul. And let us work toward complete purity because we fear God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 (NIV)
The above scripture will give us further insight as to why and how we each can personally purify ourselves with the help of the Lord. In our every day lives we all know that it is good to cleanse ourselves by washing and removing dirt or impurities from our bodies, because it is important to practice good hygiene. But it is especially important to know why we should also cleanse the inside of our bodies and souls as well.
This scripture reveals to us the, Why we cleanse everything which defiles our body and soul, it is because we fear God. So my thought is… if we don’t fear God, then we won’t cleanse. Our soul is internal. The inside of our bodies house our heart/soul, mind and organs. They can become defiled with sin. Whether it is a generational sin, sin done against us or our own sin. And wherever there is sin we can find demonic spirits right in the midst of any sin, prolonged sickness, disease or pain inside our bodies. We all have sinned to some degree in our thoughts, words and deeds. This defiling happens to people everywhere, all over God’s earth. Sin needs to be forgiven, cleansed, removed, and healed.
How do we cleanse? Yes, the same way Jesus cleansed. He would cast the defiled spirits out from within the body of a person and then He would fill up the cleansed areas with His purity, His love. It is one of His works we can do with Jesus or with the help of another believer as the Holy Spirit leads each one of us. This will help us to keep purifying ourselves daily, like this scripture in 2 Corinthians reveals, so we will complete purity, we will work towards becoming the pure and spotless bride of Christ. This is one promise of His work we can step into. Jesus helped those who sought Him out for help.
It is good to daily cleanse/cast out to maintain our purity and it is Good to increase that purity by dwelling in Gods presence, listening, talking with our Jesus, worshiping in word and in song, moving in the power of His Holy Spirit, and allowing all three of them to help us understand and obey God’s Holy Bible which holds all of His promises. And when God makes a promise to us, HE is Never a Promise breaker, He is a Promise Keeper.
“Indeed, God is ready to help you right now, Today is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)
“Teach these things and insist that everyone learn them. Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your Purity.” 1 Timothy 4:11 (NIV)
Here is an example of one of the purifying prayers that I personally declare as often as I feel needed. I will also call out the spirit by name as the Holy Spirit reveals such as; depression, anxiety, pain, etc… or whatever I am experiencing, Or I will bind them all into one grouping. We begin with first speaking out scripture from the king James version and then give the command.
Revelations 18:2 declares, “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a Cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
Jesus stand with me as I command, You demonic spirits who are causing me this _______________, In the name of Jesus, I bind all of you spirits up along with your chief spirits wherever you are dwelling within my mind, heart/soul, organs and body. God release your Hosts to me, and I command that you chiefs and demonic spirits will all go into the cage when I tell you to go. Host Angels you will lock the cage and take the cage to the feet of Jesus to judge these demons before their time.
These demons will Never come back to me or send replacements. I command in the name of Jesus that all of you demons will get up and out of me Now! Go Now! and get into the cage! (TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND FROM DEEP WITHIN YOUR STOMACH COUGH OUT HARD DEEP COUGHS, SEVERAL TIMES)
The Holy spirit will guide you and when you are done coughing, then continue to pray the next prayer below and add in anything you feel led to pray.
Jesus fill up these cleansed areas inside of me with Your oil of Love, peace, healing. Infuse every one of my cells with your blood and with the Goodness of God. Fill me up to overflowing with your Holy Spirit. I Thank You, I Worship and Praise You. Amen.
