It was a while ago, in January 2019, I went to my favorite organic/natural grocery store here in Asheville. I am a very intent shopper. I love food and cooking. Jesus always alerts me and will pull me out of my intense shopping mode whenever he is about to place an opportunity right in front of me.
As I was going over my grocery list and slowly pushing my cart down the store’s center isle and about to turn into another isle to purchase a can of salad beans, I heard the voice of a cute little boy who I guessed to be about four years old. He was sitting in a grocery cart, one of those carts that is in the shape of a car. As his pretty young mother was pushing her cute little boy in the cart, he was waving both of his arms out in front of him in an alarming fashion and with a loud voice shouting, “Get out of the way you witch!” His eyes looked like he was really seeing the “witch” that he was trying to get out of the way of his cart.
Jesus alerted me to his cries as the boy continued to repeat these words over and over. When he and his mother passed in front of my cart, I stopped to let them pass ahead of me into the same isle I was going into. The mother looked at me rolling her eyes and I said to her with a chuckle, “He sure doesn’t like witches.” As she shook her head she said, “Don’t worry he is not referring to you.”
I laughed a bit and when they were a few steps past my cart I knew in the spirit exactly what was going on, as the boy was becoming more terrified trying to wave and yell at a witch to get out of their way. I instantly knew this was a fallen angel who was manifesting before this innocent little boy and had been scaring him frequently. I now had an opportunity in God’s authority to help this little one. I noticed down the right of this short isle was an employee stocking shelves and another customer waiting to get into the isle. In a voice only loud enough for those God had positioned to hear I said with His authority, “Jesus, I ask you to send far away this fallen angel that is manifesting as a witch to this little boy and to never bother him again. And Jesus, let him now, only see your angels of light and please come and appear to him and tell him who you are, Amen.”
All the while I said this, the little boy’s voice became louder as he told that witch to get out of the way. As he and his mother turned down into the next isle, which was right about the moment I finished praying through this battle, the little boy suddenly quieted and he began to hum a tune. I knew he heard the angels singing so he hummed along because he had not yet learned the words. The employee and the other customer that were still in the isle looked at me baffled and curious. I assumed they were wondering what had just happened. Then they went back to their stocking and shopping.
I stood there and began to look for my can of salad beans as I continued to silently battle for this cute little boy. I asked Jesus if he would help this little boy tell his mother about who He is and also tell her of His angels that he can now see. It was so much fun because the little boy continued to hum a song with his new angel friends the whole time, up and down every isle as his mother finished her grocery shopping.
Now you see why I love going grocery shopping or going anywhere! I love to see what kind of “Good God Trouble” I can get into!
