Heaven declares, It is better for the Left hand to NOT know what the Right hand is doing. Give in secret, Do not proclaim it from the roof-tops. Do not allow the giver to receive all of the attention, praise and glory. Give Glory only to God, His Son and His Holy Spirit.
There is a fine line between “Boasting & Bragging” and between “Giving & Getting.” Never give under pressure. Never give reluctantly. ASK God “First” what to give – where to go – what to speak – what to do. God will answer you!
I asked the Holy Spirit for scriptures to share, and He answers me.
“But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your Left hand know what your Right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.” Matthew 6:3-6 (NKJV)
“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)
“Take care! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired, because then you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give a gift to someone in need, don’t shout about it as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I assure you; they have received all the reward they will ever get.” Matthew 6:1-2 (NLT)
